October brings a shift to the table ~ earthy roots, brassicas, orchard fruits, mushrooms, squash and nuts all coming into their own.

Eating with the season is less about rules and more about variety. Choosing ingredients while they’re naturally abundant brings different colours, flavours and nutrients onto our plates, while encouraging us to change the way we eat throughout the year.

Squash roasted until golden. Apples and pears at their best. Mushrooms, beetroot and leafy greens worked into warmer dishes.

A simple way to nourish ourselves while making the most of what October has to offer.
