Sadly, my 2026 renaissance festival season has come to an end. While it didn’t exactly go according to plan (the fairy was to make her debut Fantasy Weekend in September but it rained all day and wings are not water proof), I think everything worked out magnificently ✨

I began working on my fairy costume in January, and each piece went through multiple variations until this landed. It was fun to be crafty and creative, yet still frustrating at times when things didn’t pan out (I made 3 sets of fairy wings before I gave up and got mine on Etsy)

But because of the rain in September, I did a last minute pivot to a pirate and it turned out even better than I expected. So the fairy got delayed until this past weekend and my only complaint was that it was FREEZING 🥶 in the morning 🤣

But I got to see some friends and made new friends as well ✨🧚🏼

Hubby’s DCC outfit was easier, Samantha was the best part!!

@ohiorenfest is so magical and I can’t wait to go back next year
