THROUGH MONSTERS AND SHADOWS IS HERE!!

It doesn't feel real, honestly. This journey has taken 2.5 years, and actually releasing this baby to the world seemed like a far off dream.

But all of these amazing reviews and excitement? All of these preorders?? Blowing my mind in the best way!

You all have made me feel incredibly special.

Thank you to all of my family and friends for being so supportive. Reading a friend's book can be awkward and put you in a weird spot if it sucks, so thank you for taking a chance on me.

To all of my new friends I've met because of this book, thank you for taking a chance on a debut indie author! You all helped me believe my friends and family weren't lying to me to make me feel better 🤣

Thank you to my street team for being the most amazing supporters. Some of your messages have left me in tears and I'm in awe of your excitement for TMAS.

Anyways, there's a whole acknowledgement section in the book so I'll stop being sappy before this becomes a novel BUT thank you all!

I hope you enjoy Through Monsters and Shadows 🩵

Available on kindle unlimited, my website, Amazon, and many online retailers. If you're a bookstore, please email me at kacole@kacoleauthor.com or you can find my book on IngramSpark. by @kacolereadsandwrites

I’ve loved every single one of these and some of these stories will stay with me forever.

Tell me what you’ve loved reading this year so far…

I’ve gotten into audiobooks big time this year!! I am also listening to Under the Iron Sky with the full cast, so good!! by @kacolereadsandwrites

Snippets ✨ by @kacolereadsandwrites

There are some books that stay with you. Weeks or even months after you’ve read them, you’re still thinking about the characters. Three months after this book, I am still thinking about Tristan… and what he can do with five minutes (iykyk) I’m desperate to know what our girl Amara is going to do next.
Have you read this?! if you love romantasy, banter, side characters that have you laughing out loud and moments where you want throw your book across the room… You need this book.

Forever grateful to KA Cole and @the_space_network for bringing this book into my life! by @kacolereadsandwrites

Anyone else just out here doing your best?

To me that looks like hibernating with my nose in a book or watching new episodes of great British baking show. Or wearing a sweater and sweat pants whether the cold weather has committed or not. I am, and thats what matters.

At this point, I'm prepared to make October my "I'm doing my best" month. If anyone wants to join, lmk. Comraderie and shit.

Anyways. If you're feeling all spooky and october-y, you should probably read my book, Through Monsters and Shadows. It has vampires, witches, and monsters—oh my! And lots of other things, but it doesnt have the same ring to it.

Check it out on KU if you have commitment issues like October throwing 80+ degree weather days at me still. If you want to dive in head first like its still summertime, get yourself the sprayed edge copy from my website. I'll even sign it 😘

P.S. This is my theme song now.

Don't mind me finally coming out of hibernation because its FINALLY FALL!!

Fall is my favorite season, and so naturally my favorite city in Through Monsters and Shadows gives fall vibes.

I didn’t want Silkesh to be slap-you-in-the-face fall vibes...its not the Autumn Court. But its my dream location.

Mountains, rivers, fall trees, all nestled together and begging you to curl up on the couch and snuggle or read? Yes please.

As I get ready to write book 2, I can't wait to find reasons to go back and visit Silkesh. I do promise some fun times there...😏

Oh and for those who are wondering, you pronounce it Sil-kesh 🩵

Did anyone else fall in love with Silkesh? Who else loves fall??

If you haven't experienced it, go check out Through Monsters and Shadows now! Its on KU and 🔗 are available in my bio if you'd prefer a physical copy 😎 by @kacolereadsandwrites

Happy 33rd birthday to me!

Last year, I used other's books to show 32, but this year I am lucky enough to use my own!

I'm not a huge fan of odd numbers, but I'm determined to make this odd year a good one. I've always felt like a bit of an odd duck, so perhaps its time to just embrace it! You've been warned 😅 by @kacolereadsandwrites
