WE FOUND ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WAYS TO EXPLORE LAKE GARDA… AND IT ONLY TAKES 25 MINUTES! If there’s one place you absolutely HAVE to visit during a holiday to Lake Garda, it’s Sirmione! And I think we found one of the best ways to experience this beautiful Italian town! During our recent family holiday, we spent a morning exploring Sirmione, famous for its cobbled streets, colourful buildings, breathtaking scenery and magnificent medieval castle. But rather than just admiring everything from the shore, we decided to experience it from a completely different perspective… by boat! We hopped aboard right beside the incredible Scaligero Castle and headed out onto Lake Garda for a 25-minute trip around the peninsula. And WOW! Sailing alongside the walls of a 13th-century castle was absolutely spectacular! You really don’t appreciate just how impressive it is until you’re looking up at it from the water. As we travelled around the peninsula, the views just kept getting better. Turquoise waters, historic buildings, beautiful greenery and mountains stretching into the distance. It genuinely felt like something straight out of a postcard! And the best part? It was an experience we could all enjoy together! Finn absolutely loved being out on the boat, and 25 minutes was the perfect length of time to enjoy the scenery, take photographs and keep him entertained. A definite winner when travelling with children! If you’re visiting Lake Garda, I’d absolutely recommend spending some time exploring Sirmione. Between its gorgeous streets, restaurants, castle and beautiful lake views, there’s so much to love! We booked our boat trip through @getyourguide , and you can find the exact experience we enjoyed here: https://gyg.me/QjzAnLvC Use my code WINGINGMAMAHOOD5 for 5% off eligible GetYourGuide bookings! This works for experiences in destinations around the world, not just Italy! We absolutely loved exploring Sirmione, and seeing it from the water made our visit even more special. It’s definitely somewhere we’d love to return to! Have you visited Lake Garda? Which towns or experiences would you recommend for our next trip? @getyourguideco
In a world full of insecurities, I’m learning to embrace myself as I am while still choosing to grow and get better. 🤍 Not every girl wants injections or a slimmer body, and that’s okay. We can want to feel healthier, work on ourselves, and still love the body we have today. Embrace thy curves, gurlies. Wear the dress. Take up space. Stop waiting for a version of yourself you think you need to become. 🖤 P.S. This is my favourite dress, btw. Outfit @zara
