Bass Node Tapes Vol.1 - October 30, 2026
I'm excited to announce that I'm releasing an album very soon on the wonderful @imaginarynorth label, comprised entirely of live recordings featuring some very talented friends.
As part of the @bass.node event series masterminded by @a.melv, I had the opportunity to play and record many improvised live sets over the past year or so. These "tapes" contain dozens of special musical moments, and I'm excited to share some of them with you.
This studio clip featuring @measure.music was recorded during a warmup/rehearsal session for the event, and he played such an evocative and moving chord progression that I was immediately transported to an alternate, melancholic realm. This is an excerpt of track 4 from the final album, entitled Burnt Churches Ft. Measure.
