Nobody earns a certification alone.
When the @nmsdchq Minority Business Enterprise approval came through earlier this month, we spent a day sending thank-you notes. We wrote to people who took a meeting when BBM was just an idea, partners who believed before there was a scoreboard, and families who trusted us with their kids.
That’s what “Relationships Move the Game” with @coach_e_of_guru means to us. Baseball got us in the room, but people kept us there.
In 2026 that network helped Black Baseball Media reinvest $75K+ in communities, support 18 high school programs and serve 750+ young people through free Chicago camps and clinics.
The certification is the paperwork. The relationships are the foundation.
