If I could sit beside you for a moment, I wonder what I would tell you.

Maybe I'd tell you that growing up won't always look the way you imagined. That some days you'll feel like you're figuring everything out, and other days you'll question yourself more than you ever thought you would. That you'll have dreams you can't explain to everyone, and things you'll love that not everyone will understand.

You don't have to become someone else to deserve happiness. You don't have to have everything figured out to be proud of yourself. And you don't have to be perfect for your dreams to matter.

I'm sorry for the times you doubted yourself. I'm sorry for the moments you questioned whether the things you loved were worth holding on to. I wish I could go back and remind you that your happiness matters, too.
