I’m delighted to share that I am now a recommended wedding cake designer for Burghley House.

For me, designing a wedding cake begins long before the first handpiped buttercream flower is placed or the first delicate detail is crafted. It begins with understanding the feeling of a place, the story of a couple, and the atmosphere they want to create for their wedding day.

I’m drawn to the interplay between architecture, fine art and floristry, to the subtle textures, considered palettes and intricate craftsmanship that make something truly beautiful feel entirely at home.

A wedding cake should be more than a centrepiece. It should feel as though it belongs. As though every detail has been thoughtfully considered, every handpiped petal, stamen and leaf has a purpose, and the finished piece is a natural extension of the setting itself.
