As the youngest of six growing up in Connecticut,
@marybethbarone felt the pull to perform early on and was driven by a steely determination that meant she overcame otherwise insurmountable obstacles. “I really wanted to be an actor and obviously a singer,” she tells SIDE-NOTE. “I’m a bad singer, but that didn’t stop me singing ‘My Heart Will Go On’ in my Fifth Grade talent show with piano accompaniment.”
