I was praying for a miracle this morning. It didn’t come. 💔

I woke up hoping that another rescue had stepped up overnight. That maybe some of these five dogs at Devore Shelter had been saved.

But all five are still there. All five are facing euthanasia without rescue.

I’m willing to pull a few, but here’s the thing: I COULD SAVE ALL FIVE IF PEOPLE WOULD STEP UP TO FOSTER.

I’m begging you. These are small dogs, roughly 12–26 pounds. They need somewhere safe to land, someone willing to open their home and give them a chance.

These are the five lives hanging in the balance:

🐾 ROCIO — Female, 9 years old, 11.7 lbs
Brown Chihuahua. A senior girl who deserves the chance to grow old in a loving home.

🐾 HERMONIUS — Male, 17.5 lbs
Cream Chihuahua. Age not provided by the shelter.

🐾 ASLAN — Male, 2 years old, 25 lbs
Gold Chihuahua. A young boy with his whole life ahead of him.

🐾 FLORITA — Female, 6 years old, 18 lbs
Black Spaniel. A little girl who deserves so much more than this ending.

🐾 LEONIDAS — Male, 26 lbs
Black Chihuahua. Age not provided by the shelter.

All five are designated rescue only due to behavioral concerns in the shelter. They have also been exposed to parvo and require appropriate precautions. They are kenneled with other dogs and reportedly doing well together.

I don’t need five people to adopt five dogs forever. I need people willing to give them a safe place to land while we work on their futures.

We can handle the rescue coordination. We just cannot keep taking dogs without somewhere for them to go.

Please, Southern California. Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside, Orange County. I’m begging you to consider fostering.

Buon halloween🎃👻💋

still trying to process what happened these past few days...

CHELO IN CONCERT. probably the biggest and most personal project i’ve ever worked on.
i had this idea in my head for such a long time. bringing together everything i love about music, the records, the live instruments, the people and all the emotions that come with it. and somehow we made it happen.
so many months of planning, so many hours of rehearsals, so many people putting their hearts into this. and then finally standing there with all of you. i honestly don’t have the words.
a huge thank you to every single musician, everyone behind the scenes and of course everyone who came and shared these moments with us. you have no idea how much this means to me. i’m beyond grateful and still a little overwhelmed.

these are just the first pictures. there’s so much more i want to show you and a lot of videos coming soon.
thank you for being part of this.
