Dear Daniel, It’s been 15 years today, since I last saw you. I miss you a lot but we had so many good memories together that I smile more than cry when I think of you. Of course I wish you were here but I mostly feel at peace knowing you lived your 34 years to the fullest, leaving a mark on myself and many others that will last forever. Today your legacy continues with your two boys @sebastianwheldon and @oliver.wheldon not just in life but also in racing. Oliver won a race this year and several podiums in his first season of car racing in the US. Sebastian won Four races in Europe and is moving on to F3 in 2027. Both are bad fast too 💨 You would be proud of @susiewheldon as she is one tough cookie but do know many of us are still close by keeping an eye on them all for you too. Will write to you again soon. Miss you mate 🧡🤍 DJ
Happy for her. Also thinking about the new mom seeing this, wondering what she’s doing wrong. Nothing, babe. Nothing.

Canada will become the 51st state of the U.S — President Trump declares U.S. President Donald Trump has said Canada will “end up being the 51st state,” renewing complaints about trade tariffs and accusing the neighbouring country of treating the United States unfairly. Speaking at a campaign rally in Bullhead City, Arizona, on Wednesday, October 14, Trump said, “Canada treats us very badly. They always have. Not anymore. It’s a whole different ball game now that Trump is in town.” He criticised Canadian tariffs on milk and other goods, as well as companies moving their factories to the U.S. “They’ll end up being the 51st state, because that’s the only way it works,” Trump said. “We don’t need them, but they need us.” He also questioned why the U.S. should lose billions of dollars supporting Canada, adding that the country’s territory “just adds to our beautiful plate,” in an apparent reference to his remarks about Greenland. The comments came amid renewed trade tensions. U.S. Ambassador to Canada Pete Hoekstra had suggested that remarks by Canadian politicians about retaliatory tariffs could be interpreted as “election interference” ahead of the U.S. midterm elections in November. Canada has repeatedly rejected the idea of becoming part of the United States. In September, British Columbia Premier David Eby announced plans for border signs declaring the province “never the 51st state.” Ontario Premier Doug Ford also rejected Trump’s earlier remarks, insisting that Canada’s sovereignty was not for sale. “I can tell President Trump that will never, ever happen,” Ford said.
@noahny and @timex have teamed up again for the Boatswain, the latest addition to their ongoing collaboration. The 31 x 35mm watch features an ivory dial with painted Roman numerals and a nautical-inspired inner track patterned after ship’s rope, housed in an Ellipse-style case available in stainless steel or gold-tone stainless steel. Another question about fame. How has fame changed me? It hasn’t. I don’t believe fame changes anyone, I believe fame simply magnifies who you are and what you are. Fame will eventually expose what’s inside. So be careful if you chase it. Here’s a quiet lil’ thing I do, whenever I meet famous people. I always pay sharp attention to how they treat other NON famous people around them. Their teams etc. And especially strangers. Reveals a lot. I like our little post workout Rock Talk Q&A’s but geeezus, next time I’ll catch my breath so I don’t sound like I’m trying to inflate a bounce house. Wtf 😂
