If you’re looking for an easy, low-key walk in Frederick, save this spot! 🌿

Lake Whittier is such a nice little spot to get outside, walk the loop, and enjoy some time by the water. It’s clean, peaceful, and perfect for when you want to get your steps in without committing to a whole hike.

If you’re lucky you might see Blendabowl there and grab a bowl afterward. Because who doesn’t love an açaí bowl after a walk 🤭🫐🍓

Recipe ⬇️ (55-60 cals per piece) Ingredients (Makes 16–20 pieces) * 1 cup raw cashews * ¼ cup melon seeds (magaz) * 1 cup grated lauki (deseeded & squeezed) * ½ cup granulated monk fruit sweetener (1:1 sugar replacement) * 2 espresso shots (¼ cup) * 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder * 1 scoop whey protein * 2–4 tbsp lukewarm water (for blending) * Chandi varak for garnish Method 👩🏻‍🍳 1. Soak cashews and melon seeds until soft. Drain well. 2. Blend with grated, squeezed lauki and a little lukewarm water into a smooth, thick paste. 3. In a kadhai, combine monk fruit sweetener, espresso and cocoa powder over low heat. 4. Add the nut-lauki paste and cook on low heat, stirring continuously until it starts thickening. 5. Add whey protein and keep stirring gently until the mixture forms a soft dough and leaves the sides of the kadhai. 6. Transfer onto parchment paper, flatten evenly and top with chandi varak. 7. Top officials in President Donald Trump's administration have claimed that they believe hundreds of thousands of noncitizens are on voter rolls, and they've threatened to prosecute election officials for not doing enough to stamp out the supposed problem. But those figures have narrowed significantly under additional scrutiny, and much smaller still is the number of people the administration has charged criminally for noncitizen voting. The rhetoric continues claims that Trump has made for at least a decade, alleging that the votes of millions of noncitizens were the sources of Democratic electoral victories.
