“I don’t understand why.” — Elvis, age 7. 🥹❤️

As adults, we often struggle to find the words to talk about grief. But listening to Elvis reminds me how important it is to have these conversations with our children. When we normalize talking about grief, we teach our kids that their feelings aren’t something to hide, fear, or suppress. They’re something to feel, understand, and share.

I couldn’t be prouder of this little boy. ❤️

This conversation is one of the most special moments from our Good Grief episode together. I hope it reminds you that it’s never too early to make space for big feelings and conversations with our kids.

Comment ELVIS and I’ll send you the full episode. 🧡 #grief #podcast #griefjourney #kids
