On Keeri Beach in Mannar, Sri Lanka, more than 300 people from 7 countries came together to make one message impossible to ignore: the climate crisis is here and polluters must pay!

Through ‘The Rising’ - a living artwork choreographed by ocean artist Subodh Kerkar - frontline communities turned their lived experiences into a powerful call for climate justice and accountability.

Big polluters like oil and gas companies cannot continue to profit, while the people least responsible pay the highest price.

It’s time to hold them accountable.
