I ran several side hustles while working full-time at Google.

But most people don’t know I had even more ideas that never made it past research.

I only had about 2 hours a day to work on them, so I couldn’t just take on every idea.

I had to test them first so I know what’s worth committing to.

Here’s what that test looks like:

Step 1 - Find 3-5 people in your contacts with a problem you’ve solved before

Step 2 - Offer to solve it for a coffee or a meal, and tell them you’re testing an idea

Step 3 - If they agree, solve it

Then ask yourself:

- Did I enjoy it?
- Could it make money?
- Can I see myself doing it every week?

If you answered yes to all 3, you might have something worth building
