⚽💚 EAGLES 2027: EXPRESSION OF INTEREST NOW OPEN

The response to Saturday night’s Presentation Night has been fantastic, with lots of parents getting in touch to ask how to sign their kids up for the 2027 season. We love the enthusiasm.

And with the Woodend Eagles recently named Football Victoria’s Regional Club of the Year for 2026, there’s plenty to be excited about as we look ahead to another big year. 🏆🦅
So, if your kids are keen to become Eagles, here’s how the process will work.

🗓️ 1. Check out the 2027 fixture dates

Football Victoria has published the fixture dates for 2027. You can find them on our website at woodendsoccer.com.au.

📝 2. Submit an Expression of Interest

Player registrations with Football Victoria open on Tuesday 12 January 2027. In the meantime, we’re starting to compile player lists through our Expression of Interest (EOI) process.
👉 Submit your EOI here: https://woodendsoccer.com.au/2027-eoi/

⚽ 3. Get ready for trials

Using the EOI lists, we’ll organise a trials day in early 2027 to help us start putting our teams together for the new season.
Know a future Eagle? Spread the word! 🦅
Whether your child is already part of the club or you have friends who are thinking about giving soccer a go, now is the time to get those EOIs in.
Founded in 2024, the Woodend Eagles are building something special. Our Regional Club of the Year recognition reflects the community, volunteers, players, coaches and families who are making this club what it is.
With excitement already building for 2027, we have a feeling it’s going to be a big one.

There’s a place for everyone at the Eagles. 💚
