I stand in solidarity with the legend, Daler Mehndi sahab . A pure soul who deserves respect, dignity, and compassion. He has always maintained a life away from alcohol, and if his health affected his performance, the least we can offer him is understanding, not humiliation.

Age is inevitable, and it is something every one of us will experience someday. A legend’s legacy cannot be judged by a single moment, especially when health may be a factor.

I sincerely urge the Honourable Minister to reconsider his words, withdraw his remarks, and offer an apology to an artist who has contributed so much to our music and culture. Respect should never diminish with age or ill health.

Legends deserve dignity, not disrespect. I stand with Daler Mehndi. 🙏🏻❤️
