White graphic with an orange band across the bottom. Text reads: “I tried to be locked in the entire time, but for those 15 seconds when we passed that sea of people with Queen in the background, it was a moment I’ll never forget!” The final phrase is in bold. The quote is attributed to Chelsea Siegal ’20, senior digital content coordinator, New York Knicks, and is introduced by the line “On riding in the Knicks’ ticker-tape parade." The orange band reads “Learn more about Chelsea’s journey from Newhouse to the Knicks. Link in bio.”

Banner night is tonight at Madison Square Garden, and Newhouse alumna Chelsea Siegal ’20 is starting her fourth season with the NBA champion @nyknicks. As senior digital content coordinator, she documented the Knicks' thrilling run to its first NBA title since 1973 and covered the ticker-tape parade in June on a float with players Landry Shamet and Josh Hart. 🏀

A graduate of the @newhouse_bdj program who took courses at the @newhousesportssu center, Chelsea played trumpet for the SU Marching Band and Sour Sitrus Society and earned a sport management minor from @sufalkcollege. Her path from @syracuseu to the Knicks included summer internships in Elmira and Rochester, and stops in Albany, Reading of the East Coast Hockey League and Cleveland with the NFL's Browns.
