Part 3 of What I learned about living in the US after 10 days in Europe — this one is the #Perimenopause Edition (if you missed parts 1 & 2, check out my feed!). I don’t know the science behind this and, to be fair, since I’ve been back home I haven’t had any night sweats, but leading up to going to Europe, I had about a week when I had them nightly. Did something about being in Portugal cause me to not have night sweats? Did my body get recalibrated such that I am now I don’t have them? Time will tell, but I am paying attention!

The food is real and the wine is likely heavily regulated.

Same happens to me in England. Even wine doesn’t affect me. HRV solid. ❤️

SAME! I’m at the point where I only drink occasionally because even one glass makes me feel terrible the next day but that Portuguese vinho verde was delicious with dinner and I felt zero effects the next day!!
