Andrew Polec

There are a lot of things I want to share regarding my wonderful experience with Celebrating Meat Loaf, however, I first have to make a special shout out to Charlie.

Charlie was a long time guitar tech for Meat Loaf and he helped us out a lot during our tour this weekend. He also surprised me with Meat Loaf’s original authentic guitar picks in my dressing room! I am blown away to be able own a couple of Meat’s picks that he used during all of his concerts.

Charlie also shared that he was Blondie’s guitar tech in 2017 when Bat Out of Hell the Musical did “Tonight at the London Palladium”. Blondie was on the bill with us that night and he saw me perform Bat Out of Hell! Here he is with a picture of us rehearsing that day! We didn’t even know each other, yet kismet brought us together 9 years later!

Sometimes things are random and by chance, though this feels like a fated meeting. The world works in wonderful and weird ways. See you next weekend for the next leg of the tour! Bat Out of Helloween!
