Taylor Swift almost turned down writing a song for 'Toy Story 5' because she didn’t want to take the opportunity away from someone else. During a Q&A with director Andrew Stanton, the pop superstar revealed she repeatedly asked whether the team had found another songwriter while she was unavailable due to the Eras Tour. Stanton said Swift was the only artist he had in mind to follow Randy Newman, who has scored the franchise since 1995. Swift ultimately teamed up with Jack Antonoff to write β€œI Knew It, I Knew You” in just a few hours after watching an early screening. The song debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and is now generating Oscar buzz for Best Original Song. Swift had a lot to say at the link in bio.
