West End Girls🎶🎹
Rereleased in October of 1985, 41 years ago this month, "West End Girls" was the number one hit from @petshopboys’ album "Please". The bass sound throughout the track comes from a Minimoog.
According to the duo, they chose the album title so people could go into a record shop and say, "Can I have the Pet Shop Boys album, 'Please'? "
At the Moogseum, you can explore a variety of interactive exhibits, starting with the Bob Moog Timeline, which features over 700 pieces of archival material and a listenable list of over 100 songs featuring various Moog synthesizers from the 1960s through the 2020s.
