wish somebody would’ve told me at 40 that I didn’t have to wait until retirement to start learning something different.
I’ve been a speech therapist for almost 30 years.
And while I love what I do, I don’t necessarily want to keep working until I’m 65 or 70.
I want more freedom.
More time with my kids and grandkids.
More opportunities to travel.
And more choices about how I spend my days.
That’s why I started learning digital marketing.
Not because I thought it would magically replace my paycheck.
But because skills like creating content, working with brands, and building digital products are things I can learn and develop outside my regular job.
I’m still building my business.
But I love knowing I’m working toward something different.
You don’t have to quit the career you’ve spent years building to start learning a skill that could open another door.
