BREAKING: REPORTS OF SHOOTING NEAR UNIVERSITY OF DELAWARE

Reports are coming in of a possible shooting on Main Street in Newark, Delaware, near Klondike Kate’s Restaurant & Saloon, located at 158 East Main Street.

Videos circulating on social media reportedly show people running through the streets as police respond to the area.

There are unconfirmed reports of people being shot, possible fatalities, and pedestrians being struck by vehicles as crowds attempted to flee.

At this time, we have not been able to confirm the number of victims or whether anyone has died.

This is a developing situation near the University of Delaware campus. We will update as more information becomes available.

Please stay clear of the area.
