What an absolute night! 🔥

A massive thank you to everyone who came out and turned the Tiefgarage am Bahnhof into an unforgettable, pulsating techno bunker with us. The energy, the grit, and the connection on that dancefloor were everything we love about Berlin’s sound—driving melodic techno and indie dance hitting straight to the chest, powered by our amazing folks at @popbastion.ulm for Sperrstunde 2.0.

Seeing you all lose yourselves in the music for free, right in the heart of Ulm, reminded us why we do what we do. Good times and great sound should always belong to everyone. ❤️

💡 Interesting Fact:

If you grew up riding in the backseat on late-night drives, that deep orange glow over every street was low-pressure sodium lighting, and it had a strange side effect. These lamps give off almost a single wavelength of light, around 589 nanometers, so your eyes can’t separate colors under them. Red cars, green grass and blue jackets all faded into shades of orange and black. That’s why the nights of your childhood felt like a warm, dreamy, slightly unreal movie scene.

Cities have been swapping them for LED streetlights for years because LEDs can cut energy use by 50 to 70 percent and last far longer. The tradeoff is that the cooler, whiter light brings back full color but also brings more blue light, which astronomers and wildlife researchers say can be harder on night skies, insects and sleep cycles. So the orange glow that quietly disappeared from so many roads wasn’t just a different color of light. It was a whole different way of seeing the night, and a lot of people never noticed it was gone until it was.
