Dee Barnes

I'm absolutely thrilled that this new shell box found a home over the weekend in Manchester at the @great_northern_events .
.
The sale of this piece of work was very special for me because the person who bought it really got where I was coming from and this in itself is very affirming.
.
When you spend weeks and months working on your own in your workshop making all sorts of things which are formed and inspired from imagination, you often wonder whether anyone is really going to get it..... I had so much positive feedback at the fair and many people really understood my work and where I was coming from without me even having to say anything. Phew!!
