✨ Our children are our future, and how we care for our most vulnerable kids says a lot about who we are as a community. Not every child grows up with the same support system, but every child deserves the opportunity to grow up in a safe, loving environment where their well-being comes first.

☀️ Here in New Mexico, we know there are serious challenges within our child welfare system. Addressing those challenges takes more than conversations. It takes leadership, transparency, and a willingness to ask tough questions and demand meaningful change.

That’s why the work Attorney General Raúl Torrez has taken on involving CYFD matters. Through investigations and legal action, his office has pushed for greater accountability and answers about the safety of children in state care. As a mom and someone who cares deeply about our New Mexico communities, I believe protecting children is a responsibility we all share. ❤️
