Obedience is our response to a Love that gives and serves so willingly.
Jesus is our example: obedient even unto death.
We don’t obey to get something from God. We obey because His ways are good and He has already given us everything.
The Abode didn’t start out of a wound, out of spite, or even out of a dream or a good idea. It started as an act of obedience. When God said “go,” we went. When God said “build,” we built. Now we’re inviting others on the journey. We desire to raise radically obedient disciples of Jesus who rejoice in following His ways.
Where might the Lord be asking you to obey? What could one “yes” to God produce in your life?
“I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches.” Psalm 119:14 NIV 📖
