Truth be told, ducks and coyotes do not get along...at all, ever. I have been told it's best to keep them separated. Unfortunately last week, that didn't happen. A couple ducks were lost due to an ambitious and determined coyote or two.. Couldn't do much besides harvest some feathers and put reinforcement up on the coop and keep a more vigil eye out on the rest of the flock. Binance just lost $6.3 billion in the biggest crypto hack ever. On Thursday night, an attacker drained crypto out of Binance wallets across ten different blockchains. Most of it left in about 20 minutes. That’s roughly four times bigger than the previous record, the $1.5 billion Bybit hack in 2025. So how did it happen? Binance says early findings point to a single engineer’s laptop that had been compromised. That gave the attacker a way into the exchange’s systems. Blockchain analysts have linked the attack to North Korea’s state-backed hackers. About $3 billion has already been frozen, so some of it may be recovered. Binance has paused deposits and withdrawals and says it will cover all user losses. Bitcoin dropped around 5% on the news.
