What remains when nature takes over?
In The Wild Within, artists @ryan.koopmans and @alicewexell reimagine abandoned architectural spaces through photography, digital reconstruction, and moving image, exploring the intersections of nature, memory, and the built environment.
Their New York exhibition at @leilahellergallery, featuring large-scale photographic works, immersive video, and hand-cut glass mosaics, is on view through October 22.
On the exhibition’s closing day, Ryan Koopmans joins us for the ART VOICES Season Two Finale to discuss his artistic practice, the evolution of The Wild Within, and the relationship between architecture, technology, and the natural world.
