Nobody tells me what to do in the garden 🌱
Unless it's about making it look nice, then my wife is definitely in charge. Or unless it's about where I can put my plant pots, then my 2 year old is in charge. Or unless it's about whether I'm allowed to garden or film a dance routine, then my 6 year old is in charge.
But those 10 minutes while the kids are distracted, my wife is in the shower and I've picked up all the dog 💩?! I am my own man, the garden is my oyster! And I will most definitely spend all of those 10 minutes procrastinating and not actually doing anything. But at least I was in charge for a bit. Sort of.

Just the three cats here, but also a very full time job and a brain that won't switch off. Pottering is self care.

Hahaha! So true, 2 kids, 1 husband, 3 cats, 1 leopard gecko and a gerbil is my excuse! Tho obvs fully in charge at all times 😂😂😂😂

Them: how come you have an allotment when you work 4 days a week and have 4 boys and a husband. Me: because I work 4 days a week, have 4 boys and an oversized man child 😮

Enjoy your 10 mins😂 my husband has just retired and has new title of "gardening assistant" if he tries to tell me how to garden i quickly remind him what assistant means🤣
