MENTAL HEALTH IN FASHION

As part of its educational work, Mental Health in Fashion held a guest lecture in the Fashion Design programme at Macromedia University of Applied Sciences, hosted by Prof. Karolin Violante & Prof. Dunja Kopi, addressing the complex relationship between mental health and the fashion industry.

From working conditions and industry pressures to the influence of imagery and social expectations, understanding mental health requires looking at the wider environment in which fashion operates. Bringing these perspectives into education is essential to challenging stigma and encouraging future professionals to question established norms.
