20 davs ago in Vancouver, one of the intended dads brought out a plate of the most beautiful pink flower petals from their backyard, and they smelled like pure bliss. We tucked some into a paper bag so I could bring them home to YQG and turn them into bath teas.

It's 6 AM, and I'm finally soaking in them for a second time, feeling a little emotional about getting to hold onto this tiny piece of a moment that meant so much to me.

There's something beautiful about bringing home a little piece of where a journey began.

#محليات | صباح حزين في إعدادية البلاد القديم.. الأستاذ عبدالرضا غاب اليوم بلا عودة

الثلاثاء (3 نوفمبر 2026)

على غير عادته، لم يحضر الأستاذ عبدالرضا عبدالرسول (أبو علي)، المعلم الأول وأستاذ العلوم بمدرسة البلاد القديم الإعدادية، إلى مدرسته صباح اليوم، ولم تطل ابتسامته المعهودة على زملائه وطلابه، بعدما غيّبه الموت في ساعة متأخرة من مساء أمس.

صباحٌ ثقيل خيّم فيه الحزن على أروقة المدرسة، طلاباً ومعلمين وإداريين، بعدما صُدم الجميع بنبأ رحيل الأستاذ عبدالرضا، الذي عُرف بمحبته للجميع، وطيب تعامله، وحرصه على نشر العلم والألفة بين زملائه وطلابه.

لم يكن الراحل مجرد معلم يؤدي رسالته، بل كان أباً ومربياً وصاحب قلب كبير، ترك أثراً طيباً في نفوس كل من عرفه، حتى أصبح غيابه المفاجئ حديثاً حزيناً في أروقة المدرسة.

وفي كلمات مؤثرة، نعاه أحد زملائه قائلاً: «صباح حزين.. أبا علي.. لِمَ استعجلت الرحيل!! معلمنا القدير وأستاذنا العزيز.. رحيلك أطفأ نوراً كان يضيء أروقة مدرستنا العامرة بالمحبة والود».

وأضاف في رثائه: «لم تكن مجرد معلم يغرس العلم، بل كنت أباً ومربياً يفيض محبة وإخلاصاً، ويسعى دائماً بقلبه الكبير لرأب الصدع وتأليف القلوب»، مؤكداً أن أثره الطيب سيبقى حياً في قلوب زملائه المعلمين ومحبيه وطلابه.

كذلك أهالي البلاد القديم سيفتقدون رجل العطاء أبا علي لما كان له من دور بارز في الأنشطة الاجتماعية وقد ترأس مجلس ادارة مأتم أنصار الحق لأكثر من دورة كما ترأس عدة لجان بالمأتم.

رحل الأستاذ عبدالرضا، وبقي مقعده بالمدرسة خالياً، وبصماته في مجتمعه حاضرة، وابتسامته التي اعتاد الجميع رؤيتها كل صباح لن تغيب عن ذاكرة محبيه.

رحمه الله رحمة واسعة، وألهم أهله وزملاءه وطلابه الصبر والسلوان.
