Looking up at this morning’s Hunter’s Moon and thinking about how much love it takes to build a family....Folklore tells us the Hunter’s Moon was a time of community effort...when an entire village stepped up together to prepare for the future. That spirit lives right at the very heart of surrogacy, it’s a breathtaking partnership of trust, science, and love. Opening up new and joyful paths for the community I care so deeply about to grow their families.
🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️❤️

Rising just as nature shifts into a quiet season of rest and gestation, the full moon honors the unseen work: the patience, the physical dedication, and the deep trust it takes to nurture a dream into reality.

So grateful for the village making this magic happen.

20 davs ago in Vancouver, one of the intended dads brought out a plate of the most beautiful pink flower petals from their backyard, and they smelled like pure bliss. We tucked some into a paper bag so I could bring them home to YQG and turn them into bath teas.

It's 6 AM, and I'm finally soaking in them for a second time, feeling a little emotional about getting to hold onto this tiny piece of a moment that meant so much to me.

There's something beautiful about bringing home a little piece of where a journey began.

Lucielle has entered her senior, indoor wildlife era 😭🐈🦜

My dad’s old TV is obnoxiously huge, but thanks to getting John a replacement PS4, a whole new world has opened up in this house. 😂

We can now have live animal streams from @alveussanctuary @thealveusupdates @alveusfeed playing on the TV, and Lucielle has just discovered that there are BIRDS. IN. THE. TV.

The absolute concentration. The little ears. The fact that she genuinely thinks she’s watching wildlife in her living room. I CANNOT. 🤣

Enrichment for our cat with cerebellar hypoplasia...stream revenue for Alveus and free entertainment for us.

Thank you, @maya_higa 🫰🏻😂

John's first Father's Day at school ❤️❤️

Happy Father's Day to the man who showed me what a real father is and does. He shows up regardless of his own feelings or how exhausted he is. You are the only person I want to be on this life long journey with...❤️ by @surro.eh

act I: the gathering ❤️

Twelve months of anticipation culminated in one single, perfect trip to the West Coast. Departing Windsor on September 30th felt like stepping into a dream. Meeting my "Boy's" in person was everything I hoped for...two men with such beautiful souls who made our stay in West Vancouver feel like home. On October 1st, within the quiet hope of @olivefertility my tummy where sweet Adelaide and Sutton grew, welcomed a perfect day 5 blastocyst in for the next nine months. A lifelong friendship formed, a perfect transfer complete, and so much beauty ahead.

Official HCG blood draw is booked for October 13th 🤞🏻
