About 30 hours after her rescue, Lupita started showing interest in food. Yesterday her body was cool to the touch and her hematocrit was 10%. Yes, 10. But we spent heavily on her needs, kept her in intensive care under our rescue team, and she is feeling slightly better now. The next 48 hours are key.

Thank you thank you thank you. This must be so hard to watch and to care around the clock. I really hope she has a chance to have a normal life.
