aaa thank you so much!

On this evacuation mission, we went to a small village outside of Kramatorsk in Eastern Ukraine, very close to the frontlines of the war, to help a family that reached out for desperate help to have their animals evacuated. They refused to leave their home and this very dangerous area that was being hit with drones, bombs, and missiles everyday; until they knew their animals could come with and be relocated with them to a safer place in Ukraine.

This was a very unique rescue evacuation for myself, because I have never evacuated cows or pigs before. They had two cows with three calves, one pig, two dogs, and six cats. They were able to take their ducks and chickens in their car, but not all the other animals. They needed our help, so that’s what we went there to do. On the way to this location there were many risks and dangers that we would have to try and avoid. Drones, missiles, and bombs, were among those risks. As we made our way to the village, a road of destruction was very prevalent, as well as a drone tried to hit a power station about 500 from our rescue vehicle as we approached the village. Which could have been us if we were there even 1-2 minutes sooner. When we arrived and started to load the animals in the van and trailer, a drone had hit a house just down the road from us, and another had flown right over top of us, as we moved to find cover. Thankfully, we were not chosen as a target in this moment. We were able to survive another day in this war. As you can see and hear in the video we just posted.

We took the great risks because these people and the animals desperately needed our help. We took the risks because we would want someone to do the same for us if we needed help. We took the risks because there are not many that would have. That’s what @animal.rescue.kharkiv does everyday for their fellow Ukrainians and the animals. They work relentlessly and tirelessly to save lives everyday.

Please follow @animal.rescue.kharkiv and show them some love and support!

From The Godfather to Goodfellas, Casino, and

Some are masterpieces. Some are iconic. And some…
could have been better if an Italian director was behind
the camera 😂

But when it comes to mafia movies, one film will
