( #AD ) - Ex Satanist claims #Beyonce & #SolangeKnowles are BOTH into the DARK ARTS..😳

I often hear people say to me, “I love surfing, but I suck at it” or “I wish I could surf like you.”

And my response is always, well, you gotta start somewhere, right?

I think sometimes we get so caught up in wanting to be good at something that we forget to enjoy the process of actually learning. No one starts off being great. It takes time, patience, consistency and a whole lot of showing up, especially on the days when you feel like you’re getting nowhere.

And now I’m on the other side of that feeling.

Kickboxing is my new thing. I’ve only been training consistently for two months and safe to say, I’m addicted. I’m a beginner again. I’m making mistakes, getting humbled, feeling uncoordinated at times and realising just how much I have to learn. But that’s also what makes it so exciting.

It’s a pretty cool feeling to be so passionate about something you’re not necessarily good at yet. To have something that challenges you, pushes you out of your comfort zone and gives you a reason to keep coming back.

I guess what I’m trying to say is, don’t let the fear of being bad at something stop you from discovering something you might end up loving.

You don’t have to be good at something to deserve to enjoy it. And you certainly don’t have to be good at something to start.

Thank you @theblockbali @bbmacoaching @thebrutallysoftgirl for humbling me in the best way possible and making the process of learning so much fun.
