More than 1 000 postcards and more are still arriving!
Today, Brent Mansfield ( @brent.mansfield ) and Brenda Moore , Chair of the @foodsharingproject, handed MPs more than 1 000 student postcards addressed to Prime Minister Mark Carney ( @markjcarney ), including 400 from the Food Sharing Project in Kingston, Ontario and 500 from Brent Mansfield’s elementary school ( @lordrobertselementaryvsb and @lunchlabroberts ).
Students shared why healthy school food matters to them and why more children and youth in #Canada should have access to it.
And their voices keep coming! We’re continuing to receive more postcards in the mail!
We thank everyone who student who shared their inspiring words and creativity, and to @nutritionforlearning for the beautiful postcard designs!
