Traditionally crazy quilts used fabrics like silk and velvet and the feather stitch was often used as away to conceal and reinforce the raw edges. It was also used because it’s a lovely decorative stitch. I had a lot of remnants and I wanted to use the pieces as is and not trim them too much. The results is an asymmetrical freeform mosaic like pattern. I have a full tutorial on how I created the pattern and the construction of the pouch on my YouTube channel. I feel like it’s a good place for me to go into more detail. I hope you find the tutorial helpful and that you enjoy making this little project😄🧡👍🏼

How I picked my surgeon for my 🍒 job. *currently 2 weeks post op* In trying to condense this story as much as possible I’ve obviously omitted some details but I should note that I spent an entire year researching local surgeons, looking at their work, reviewing their patients testimonials and asking around for personal experiences. Whilst my first consultation was quite confronting, disappointing and jarring, I’m grateful for the entire experience as it led me ultimately to a surgeon I felt extremely comfortable with and valued. Stay tuned for PART 2!
