I 🍁 deze herfst.
adhd work struggles usually aren’t about effort. they’re about switching tasks, remembering what got decided, and saying yes before checking our calendar. sources & credit ♡
→ the shutdown ritual (#9) by cal newport
→ the science: attention residue (sophie leroy), if-then plans (peter gollwitzer), the planning fallacy (kahneman & tversky), the 23 min refocus stat (gloria mark, uc irvine), making plans for unfinished tasks (masicampo & baumeister), job crafting (amy wrzesniewski & jane dutton), and the interest-based nervous system (dr. william dodson)
→ the rest are tried + tested from my own life and shimmer coaching sessions save this for your next monday ♡ #adhd #adhdwomen #adhdatwork adhdtips adhdhacks
Friends, seeing God’s Word light up Times Square in New York City is not lost on me. 📖❤️‍🔥 In a city that never stops selling, scrolling, or shouting for our attention, God’s Word rose above it all. It is alive and active, and it still changes lives. That’s why I love that Global Bible Month launched in Times Square last night. I’m so grateful for our friends at @youversion , who are putting Scripture in the hands of people all over the world every single day. This is how we reach the modern world with the Gospel. Because behind every verse opened is a person. Someone who may hear the good news of Jesus for the first time. Someone who may respond. Someone who may be changed and sent to live on mission for Jesus Christ in their sphere of life. “The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.” (Isaiah 40:8) As this year comes to a close, I’m praying we would be a people who take the Gospel further, faster. Open your Bible today, and pass God’s Word on to a lost and hurting world, in Jesus’ name. 🙏
Nisu zaboravljeni. Njihova imena i njihova lica ostaju uklesana u kolektivnu svest, da nas opominju, da nas uče saosećanju i da svedoče o tome da njihovi životi nikada neće biti izbrisani. Neka im je večna slava i mir. Pamtićemo ih zauvek.
