قلت مشاهدات قصائد الملا بسبب هذي المؤثرات المزعجة.. وكأن الفريق القائم على مونتاج القصائد يتعمد بتجاهل آراء المستمعين.. للأسف

The Japanese have a concept called Misogi. The idea is to challenge yourself to do something difficult, something you’ll look back on and be proud you actually did.

I think we all have those things in life. Things we say we’d love to do, places we’d love to go, experiences we’d love to have. But somehow, life keeps moving and we never get around to them.

After recently losing my mother-in-law, I’ve been reminded just how precious life and relationships really are. And how easy it is to keep putting things off, assuming we’ll always have more time.

So I’ve made a commitment to myself. Every year, I want to do something I’ve always wanted to do but haven’t.

This year, that meant hiking a portion of the Appalachian Trail and camping out in the wilderness with some of my brothers.

It was…..an experience. Time to reflect, disconnect, hang with the homies and enjoy God’s creation, and get some much needed rest.

Well……nah, scratch that last part. Ain’t much resting goin on when you hike up mountains for hours. I called on the name of Jesus several times, and not all of them were spiritual.

But seriously, I’m grateful for these brothers and the memories we made.

I’m learning that a rich life isn’t just about what you accumulate. It’s about the memories you make, the relationships you cultivate, and the experiences that shape you.

What’s something you’ve always wanted to do but keep putting off? You gonna do it or nah?
