Phil Kiner Design

I created 15 distinct house sigils, giving each noble house of Ryumere its own visual identity. The Tharus design was an especially fun one - based on a relatively obscure marine yokai called amabie.

I’m going to be proud of this project for a long time. Huge thanks to @tinamarsbooks for bringing me into the world of This Wretched Alchemy and trusting me to help develop some of its visual language. This has been my biggest project to date, and I’m incredibly grateful to have been a part of it. See the sigils in the US, UK, and German editions - out November 10!
