I had one job. Borrow the jewelry, wear it on the red carpet, give it back. I felt so special that Trinity from @davidyurman let me wear their jewelry, I was going to post all the pics. Until I finished all my red carpet interviews and realized I wore the necklace BACKWARDS. So then I was like “no big deal, maybe they won’t notice.” No one said anything. Weeks pass. Then I got invited to an event and dinner this week for the jeweler, and I felt like I owed it to them to show up, so I texted @tarrynfisher and asked if my suede dress looked okay with my shoes for this kind of event. I don’t know what to wear to events. They said cocktail and sneakers isn’t cocktail but whatever, comfort before style, right? Not until you show up and realize you’re LITERALLY dressed like the tan suede David Yurman box. I was unintentionally wearing a costume. “Maybe he won’t notice,” I thought. But of all the places to be seated at dinner, I was right next to David Yurman himself, who definitely thought I was dressed like a David Yurman box. But what a freaking cool dude. We don’t deserve David. And I don’t deserve @jami_smith9902 for showing up, even after the incident with the car full of bullet holes. Long story.
But Istg I don’t know why I leave my house sometimes. Maybe because sometimes it’s fun, even when I’m unintentionally cosplaying boxes and pretending I know how to wear jewelry. But the necklace worked even when worn incorrectly, I wasn’t banned from borrowing their jewelry (I don’t think) and then I went home and put together my Christmas tree because shut up and mind your business and just admire it even though it needs more tree skirt.
Also I’ve been waiting 6 months for this couch to be made that I designed on purpose after living with a white couch for six years and it finally arrived. I lost my ovaries during the cancer last year so it put me in my maximalist era, decoratively and emotionally.
I should delete this caption and just type photo dump. Truly. Kthxbye
