Straight Canine

Hey everyone! 👋🐾

I'm Petra, the face behind STR8.K9, and this fluffy black gentleman next to me is Garmin, my Bohemian Shepherd 🐕🖤

Ever since I was a little kid, wherever I went, if there was a dog or pretty much any other animal around, that's exactly where you'd find me! 😅 I honestly didn't care much about the humans around me when there were animals to spend time with ❤️

Over the years, that love has grown into something much more than just loving dogs. I've become genuinely fascinated by their behaviour, how they communicate, how they think and how much we can learn from them 🍀

I've completed multiple courses in dog walking, dog training and other canine-related subjects, and I'm currently continuing my studies, exploring canine behaviour on a much deeper level.

The more I learn, the more I realise how fascinating dogs really are, and how much there is that we, as humans, often don't even realise or understand about them.

STR8.K9 is my little journey of turning something I genuinely love into something meaningful.

I'm starting small, learning along the way and hoping to share a little bit of everything here - dogs, behaviour, everyday adventures, things I've learned and the occasional helping paw. 🐾

Welcome to our journey! 🐾💚
