Adin Ross is reportedly closing the door on another Trump livestream, a sharp change from the enthusiastic welcome he gave Donald Trump during the 2024 election. The latest development surfaced in a conversation between Ross and Akademiks.

Ross indicated during the livestream that he would never host Trump again.
The history between Ross and Trump makes the reported decision especially notable. On August 5, 2024, the streamer welcomed Trump to a broadcast filmed at Mar-a-Lago in Florida, mixing election conversation with the casual atmosphere of an online entertainment show. Ross opened by telling Trump, “Well, today is going to be the most important stream I’ve ever done, first of all.”

The Trump livestream placed Ross at the center of a national campaign’s effort to connect with younger audiences through platforms beyond television and traditional political interviews.

During the same show, Ross even brought up rapper Young Thug’s then-pending Georgia criminal case and asked Trump to consider whether the artist was being treated fairly.

Ross also presented Trump with a Rolex watch and a customized Tesla Cybertruck decorated with imagery connected to the July 2024 assassination attempt in Pennsylvania. Those expensive gifts became memorable visuals from the appearance and helped turn the broadcast into a story well beyond the streaming community.

Days later, Ross told his audience that Trump had suggested they could reunite for another interview at the White House if he won the election. At the time, a follow-up sounded like a natural extension of their friendly first meeting.

Signs of regret emerged well before this week’s development. In October 2025, Ross publicly reflected on how deeply his political involvement had affected the way people perceived him. He explained that audiences often associated him with Trump before getting to know anything else about his personality or work.
