ARTSGOGGLE!!! 🍵🎨
The Olympics of Fort Worth festivals, I swear. 😂
I’ve been participating in ArtsGoggle over the span of 10 years now (minus the years I was living overseas) , and it’s been WILD to witness and y’all witness my evolution through this festival. From showing up as a visual artist to, apothecary to slowly transforming my little setup into an entire tea experience that is
@floating.lotus.tea … and now TWO fully operational matcha carts with a whole crew?! WHAT?! 😂
What’s even more beautiful is that so many of you have witnessed that evolution right alongside me, year after year.
This year stretched me in ways I couldn’t have imagined. The logistics, the preparation, the responsibility of producing something on this scale with a crew of special humans I couldn’t not have done this without… WHEW. I learned a LOT about myself and what I’m capable of. Anything after this should feel like cake now 😂
But my absolute FAVORITE part of ArtsGoggle will always be the PEOPLE. Seeing my neighborhood come alive, running into familiar faces, giving out a million hugs, and being reminded of just how deeply rooted I am in this community.
We made a whole lotta matcha, shared a whole lotta love, and had an incredible crew of humans making it all happen.
I’m exhausted, grateful, proud, and still processing the magnitude of it all.
Many years of showing up, evolving, creating, and growing alongside this community. What a beautiful thing to witness. As they pause this festival, I’m going to miss ArtsGoggle for now, but looking forward the new innovative events I know will be produced by the talented folks at
@nearsouthside .
Thank you, Fort Worth. I love y’all. 🖤🍵
