Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2026 Women in Empirical Microeconomics Conference, held October 16–17 at the University of Chicago’s David Rubenstein Forum!

Over two days, researchers shared early-stage and works-in-progress research across empirical microeconomics, engaging in thoughtful discussions, exchanging feedback, and exploring new methodological approaches.

A special thank you to Janet Currie of Yale University for delivering the keynote address, and to our organizers Pauline Carry, Renata Gaineddenova, Virginia Minni, and Manasvini Singh, along with scientific committee members Yunan Ji, Anna Russo, Awa Ambra Seck, and Garima Sharma, for their contributions to the conference.

We are grateful to all speakers, discussants, and attendees for making this a productive and engaging event!
