Imagination took flight! Second graders from across the district took part in our Creating & Experiencing Stories event, where they met this year's Hills Bank Visiting Author and Illustrator, Dan Santat (@dsantat), a bestselling author, Caldecott Medalist, and National Book Award winner! They also explored storytelling through hands-on art activities and interactive literacy lessons.
Every student even got to take home a book of their choice, courtesy of Hills Bank!

What fun! Great job to all of our second graders for being such wonderful participants and readers! Thanks to all the Teacher Librarians, educators, staff, bus drivers, and volunteers who helped bring this year's experience to life!
