During a recent San Diego workshop, I spent the afternoon introducing a client to long exposures. This one was a two-minute exposure, which softened the moving water into the smooth wash you see here. I love hearing that first “wow” when someone sees what a long exposure can do.

We had a great afternoon exploring the shoreline and trying a new way of seeing the water. This photograph brings me right back to it.
