@Chanelofficial’s divisive barefoot sandals have made their way to the red carpet. This afternoon, Margaret Qualley stepped out for her new Ridley Scott film “The Dog Stars” in London, England, and while the star donned a classic little black dress on top, it was her unconventional choice in footwear that totally stole the show.

Anna Lambe once called herself “deeply unfunny”. Netflix’s North of North put that claim to the test, casting the Inuk actor as Siaja, a young mother starting again in Nunavut. The series films in her hometown of Iqaluit, with Inuit designers shaping Siaja’s wardrobe.
Before the show, Lambe worried about coming across as annoying or disruptive. Two seasons as Siaja — including howling like a dog in her underwear — have made her more relaxed about how people see her. “I definitely feel much more willing to be silly in my personal life,” she says.

Делюсь ещё одним фрагментом моего трека - В ТЕМНОМ ОМУТЕ

Вы уже знаете, что у меня свой взгляд на знакомые истории и персонажей. В этот раз мне захотелось показать русалку, ту которую вижу я.

Был ли у неё выбор? Действительно ли она хотела такой судьбы?

В основе моего образа — предания о русалках как о молодых девушках, чья жизнь трагически оборвалась в воде. Мне кажется, в ней продолжают жить две сущности. Человеческая — та, которой по-прежнему нужны любовь, близость и тепло. И тёмная — появившаяся после гибели, с силой, которую она, возможно, никогда не просила.

Мы часто встречаем истории о даре, за который приходится платить. Возможно, с русалкой произошло то же самое. Её сила стала её проклятием, её ношей. И я хотела оставить место для мысли: что чувствует она сама, когда тянется к человеку, зная, чем может закончиться эта близость?

Этот трек получился самым длинным из всех моих — почти три минуты. Обычно я стараюсь писать короче, сокращаю текст. Но здесь у меня не поднялась рука: слишком многое хотелось рассказать и дать прочувствовать.

i’ve never really thought of myself as a choreographer. after retiring from directing @samahangmodern, i think i made only 3 pieces in the 2.5 years before this

as an organizer and producer, it’s been even easier to put myself in a box and limit what i think i’m capable of

WENZDAYS has truly democratized the choreography process and im going to work endlessly to make sure more and more people get to feel this feeling 🫶
